Featuring Pip the Robin, Daisy the Hedgehog & Barnaby the Badger
Pip woke up at Mossbank Oak.
The meadow sparkled, soft and bright.
"Good morning, friends!" Pip chirped with glee.
"What lovely colours can we see?"
Red berries hung on bramble near.
"Look at red!" cried Pip with cheer.
Daisy smiled and Barnaby said,
"Red is bold and warm," he said.
Orange sunset touched the lane.
Pip flapped his wings again.
"Orange glows like mum's warm tea,"
said Barnaby, "for you and me."
Yellow buttercups danced below.
Daisy twirled on tiptoe-toe.
"Yellow shines like sunny fun,"
they sang beneath the Mossbank sun.
Green moss grew beside the stream.
Pip's green scarf matched the gleam.
"Green is fresh on every tree,"
said Daisy, "just like you and me."
Bluebells lined the Bluebell Path.
Barnaby gave a gentle laugh.
"Blue is calm and cool and deep,"
as crickets chirped the friends to sleep.
Purple heather on the hill.
Pip stood very, very still.
"All the colours, side by side,"
the meadow friends said with pride.
Sing slowly together
Red and orange, yellow too,
Green and blue for me and you.
Purple heather, soft and bright,
Colours dancing in the light.
Round and round the rainbow goes,
Through the meadow, tip to toes.
Can you name each colour found?
Rainbow round-and-round!
(Repeat the chorus together!)
